












Former Slalom Bronze medalist at the USASA National Championships, Andrew Poladian, has come out of retirement to dominate the Open Class Alpine Events. Poladian racked up three Gold medals this weekend (2 in Giant Slalom & 1 in Slalom) on his 1st weekend racing since his decision to return to USA Snowboard competitions. Hard work, his new house and preparing athletes for the future are Andrew's focuses as we move through another Olympic year.
U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the 2010 Olympic Snowboarding Team Monday.
The team is full of talented riders that have past Olympic experience
and then some new members making their Olympic debut. The rooster is
made up of 18 athletes that will compete in 3 different disciplines
that will be held at Cypress Mountain in Vancouver.
The first events of the season will kick off at Hunter Mountain on January 9th & 10th with a Halfpipe and Slopestyle. The mountain is in great shape and received 6" of snow on Sunday to start the New Year with a bang.
While we’re there on Saturday for our first Halfpipe event, Hunter will be hosting their 50th Anniversary Finale Party with live music, food, prizes and fun for the whole family.
